Google Play Age Signals API enters beta, moving age checks onto Google's platform
Google's new Play Age Signals API, now in beta, lets Android apps request a user's age bracket — 0–12, 13–15, 16–17, or 18+ — directly from Google instead of each app building its own verification. No birthdate is shared. Testing in Brazil, reaching Australia and Canada in August, global by year-end. Parents manage sharing via Family Link.
