Netflix Overtakes BBC as UK Viewers' Default Choice, Ofcom Finds

Ofcom's 2026 Media Nations report (29 July) found 26% of UK viewers name Netflix their default viewing choice, edging the BBC at 25%. ITV trails at 15%. Netflix has pulled ahead of the BBC for the first time in Ofcom's default-viewer survey. The margin is one point; the direction is not.
