Carney walks back claim on Gordie Howe bridge toll revenue sharing

Prime Minister Mark Carney conceded in Charlottetown he was "not as clear as he could have been" about sharing half the Gordie Howe bridge's net toll revenues with the U.S. for 15 years. He had earlier said tolls would not be split until Canada's $6.4-billion construction debt was repaid. A House committee reviewed the deal July 29.
