Carney concedes he misspoke on Gordie Howe bridge toll-sharing with U.S.

Prime Minister Mark Carney acknowledged in Charlottetown that he was "not as clear as he could have been" about a deal to share half of net Gordie Howe bridge toll revenues with the U.S. for 15 years. Carney had previously said tolls would not be split until Canada's $6.4-billion construction debt was repaid. A House committee met July 29 to scrutinize the agreement.
