Stanford won't back MBIE chief after $6m spending error

Immigration Minister Erica Stanford won't say whether she still trusts MBIE chief executive Nic Blakeley. Stanford's staff caught an error in information MBIE gave the minister, which led Blakeley to reveal another $6m wasted on Immigration NZ's failed biometrics upgrade. Stanford said her trust in officials was "severely damaged" and "getting worse".
