Tate Brothers Held in Miami Pending Extradition Bail Hearing
Andrew and Tristan Tate remain in a Miami federal jail following their July 18 arrest on a UK extradition request — the process by which one country asks another to hand over suspects for prosecution. The 59 combined charges include rape and sex trafficking. A bail hearing is set for August 13, 2026. If denied, detention could last a year. Britain has until September 16 to file its full extradition request.
