Typhoon Noul struck Huizhou, Guangdong on July 26 with Force 14 winds — the top of China's wind scale — making it China's strongest typhoon of 2026, per state media. At least 10 died in China and 3 in the Philippines. Over 801,000 people were relocated. Noul was the third typhoon to hit China within a month, after Bavi and Maysak.
