Typhoon Noul, China's strongest storm of 2026, kills 13 across China and the Philippines

Typhoon Noul struck Huizhou, Guangdong on July 26 with Force 14 winds, making it the strongest typhoon to hit China in 2026 to date, per Chinese state media. At least 10 died in China and 3 in the Philippines. Over 801,000 were relocated. It was the third typhoon to landfall in China within a month, after Bavi and Maysak.
