
Powerful Storm Called Typhoon Noul Kills 13 Across China and the Philippines
Typhoon Noul — a giant rotating storm — hit Huizhou, Guangdong on July 26 with winds topping China's scale, making it the country's strongest typhoon of 2026, per state media. At least 10 died in China and 3 in the Philippines. Over 801,000 people were moved to safety. It was the third typhoon to strike China in a month, after Bavi and Maysak.
