Greens unveil 2026 manifesto centred on wealth and inheritance tax

The Green Party launched its 2026 election manifesto at its south Auckland AGM, proposing a wealth tax, an inheritance tax, a tax-free threshold below $10,000, and a higher top rate above $160,000. Co-leader Marama Davidson said the party would tax the super-rich and tackle corporate greed to reinvest in public services. It is the Greens' most detailed tax package this campaign.
