Berlin Police Kill Pride Car-Ramming Suspect After Manhunt

German police shot and killed Abdul Ballout, a German-Lebanese citizen, after he attacked officers with a bladed weapon at a Spandau garden complex on 26 July 2026. Ballout had rammed a car into Berlin's Christopher Street Day Pride crowd the night before, killing one and injuring over a dozen. Officials suspect an Islamist terror motive. The federal prosecutor has taken over the case.
