Police Shoot and Kill Suspect in Berlin Pride Parade Attack

German police shot and killed Abdul Ballout after he attacked officers with a blade on 26 July 2026. The night before, he had driven a car into a crowd at Berlin's Pride celebration, killing one person and hurting over a dozen. Police believe it was a religiously motivated terror attack. Germany's top national prosecutor is now handling the case.
