Sick of It All Frontman Lou Koller Dies at 59 After Cancer Returns

Lou Koller, co-founder and vocalist of New York hardcore band Sick of It All, has died at 59, his bandmates announced on Instagram. Diagnosed with esophageal cancer in June 2024, he was declared cancer-free in May 2025 after chemotherapy, but the disease returned shortly after. He co-founded the Queens-based band in 1986; 2026 marks its 40th anniversary.
