Sick of It All Singer Lou Koller Dies at 59 After Cancer Comes Back

Lou Koller, singer and co-founder of the New York punk band Sick of It All, has died at 59, his bandmates shared on Instagram. He had throat cancer found in June 2024. Treatment seemed to work — doctors said he was cancer-free in May 2025 — but the disease came back soon after. He started the band in Queens in 1986; 2026 marks 40 years.
