Sick of It All Frontman Lou Koller Dies at 59 After Esophageal Cancer Recurrence

Lou Koller, vocalist and co-founder of New York hardcore band Sick of It All, has died at 59. His bandmates announced the death on Instagram. Koller was declared cancer-free in May 2025 after chemotherapy for esophageal cancer first revealed in June 2024, but the disease returned shortly after. He co-founded Sick of It All in Queens in 1986; 2026 marks the band's 40th anniversary.
