UK Grants Palestinian Visitor Visa to Husband, Rejects Wife's Matching Application

The UK Home Office approved a visitor visa for Palestinian Jerusalemite Ghassan Abdallah but rejected the identical application from his wife Therese, 69. The couple, married 40 years, planned to visit their son in London and attend a wedding in Ireland. The rejection letter said her UK ties "out weight" home ties. The Home Office declined to comment on individual cases.
