UK Approved Husband's Visa, Rejected Wife's Identical Application

The UK Home Office approved a visitor visa for Palestinian Jerusalemite Ghassan Abdallah but rejected the identical application from his wife Therese, 69 — same invitation, same documents, same purpose. The couple, married 40 years, planned to visit their son in London and attend a family wedding in Ireland. The rejection letter stated: "I note that your UK ties out weight your home country ties." Their son Karim said both parents submitted identical evidence. The Home Office said it does "not routinely comment on individual cases."
