UK Says Yes to Husband's Visit, No to Wife's Same Paperwork

The UK approved a travel visa for Palestinian Jerusalemite Ghassan Abdallah but rejected the same request from his wife Therese, 69. A visa is official permission to enter a country. Both submitted identical documents to visit their son in London and attend a wedding in Ireland. The rejection said her UK ties outweighed her home ties. The Home Office would not comment.
