Paramount Freezes $111B Warner Bros. Discovery Merger Pending Antitrust Ruling

Paramount Skydance will pause integration of Warner Bros. Discovery operations until June 1, 2027, or five days after a federal court rules on antitrust litigation from 12 state attorneys general and the Writers Guild of America. The DOJ and EU already cleared the $111 billion deal. Judge Martínez-Olguín must still approve the delay agreement, which costs roughly $7 million daily past September.
