Paramount Agrees to Freeze $111B Warner Bros. Discovery Merger Until June 2027

Paramount Skydance will halt integration of Warner Bros. Discovery operations until June 1, 2027 or five days after a federal court rules on antitrust litigation brought by 12 state attorneys general and the Writers Guild of America. The DOJ and EU have already cleared the $111 billion deal. Judge Martínez-Olguín must approve the agreement. Delay costs run roughly $7 million per day past September.
