Geekbench 7 Reworks Multi-Core Scoring to Mirror Real-World Workloads

Primate Labs released Geekbench 7 on July 23, 2026, redesigning its multi-core benchmark so that multi-threaded tasks run only when the real-world activity being modeled is itself multi-threaded. Scores should now reflect genuine cross-core scaling rather than rewarding raw core count. Geekbench 7 results are not comparable with Geekbench 6, so new baselines are required.
