Geekbench 7 Redesigns Multi-Core Test to Reflect Real-World Parallelism
Primate Labs released Geekbench 7 on July 23, 2026, redesigning its multi-core benchmark to run multi-threaded workloads only when the modeled real-world tasks are themselves multi-threaded. The change means scores should reflect genuine cross-core scaling rather than rewarding raw core count. Geekbench 7 scores are not compatible with Geekbench 6 results, requiring new baselines.
