NTSB: Driver Floorboarded Accelerator, Disabling Tesla FSD Before Fatal 70 mph Crash

NTSB investigators confirmed that a Tesla Model 3 driver pressed the accelerator to 100 percent, overriding and disabling Full Self-Driving before striking a Texas home at over 70 mph, killing Martha Avila. Driver Michael Butler, 44, told investigators he lost consciousness after enabling FSD. No drugs or alcohol were found. NHTSA is also investigating; the NTSB probe remains open.
