CWA Files Labor Charges Against Microsoft Over Bethesda Layoffs

The Communications Workers of America filed unfair labor practice charges with the NLRB on July 15, 2026, alleging bad-faith bargaining, coercion, contract repudiation, and failure to give employee notice. The charges target roughly 440 Bethesda job cuts. CWA Canada is pursuing separate legal action for Montreal workers. The NLRB has not yet ruled.
