Ministry of Pacific Peoples defends $200,000 documentary on Fijian politician Lynda Tabuya
The Ministry of Pacific Peoples is defending $200,000 of public funding for a documentary on Fijian politician Lynda Tabuya, who was sacked from Fiji's Cabinet over a leaked nude video in December 2024 and reappointed as Information Minister in August 2025. Ministers Paul Goldsmith and Winston Peters declined to comment. The ministry said funding was decided independently through the Moana Reo Media Fund.
