Government ministry defends spending $200,000 on a documentary about a Fijian politician

A government ministry is defending spending $200,000 of public money on a documentary about Fijian politician Lynda Tabuya. She was fired from Fiji's Cabinet after a leaked nude video last December but was brought back as Information Minister in August. Two government ministers — Paul Goldsmith and Winston Peters — would not comment. The ministry said a separate media fund decided the funding on its own.
