Coalition's majority shrinks to bare minimum in latest poll

The National–NZ First–ACT government holds 61 of 120 seats — the slimmest possible majority — an RNZ-Reid Research poll of 1000 people (2–9 July) shows. National polled 28.7%, its lowest under Christopher Luxon. One by-election loss or defection would cost the government its working majority.
