UK Slashes Bilateral Aid to Mozambique and Malawi by 90% by 2029

Bond, a UK charity network, found FCDO figures showing bilateral aid to Mozambique and Malawi will drop 90% by 2029. Rwanda and Sierra Leone face 80% cuts; Somalia 49%. The reductions follow Starmer's government shifting aid spending toward defence. Save the Children's Lisa Wise said the cuts hit "countries and children that need it most."
