UK to Cut Direct Foreign Aid to Mozambique and Malawi by 90%

The UK gives money directly to poorer countries as aid. A charity network found that aid to Mozambique and Malawi will drop 90% by 2029. Rwanda and Sierra Leone face 80% cuts; Somalia 49%. Prime Minister Starmer's government is shifting the money toward defence. Save the Children said the cuts hurt "countries and children that need it most."
