Apple Intelligence Approved for China, Using Both Alibaba and Baidu Models

China's Cyberspace Administration has approved Apple Intelligence for launch, roughly two years after its 2024 debut elsewhere. Apple will integrate models from both Alibaba (Qwen) and Baidu across iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS. Baidu was Apple's initial sole partner; its development work fell short, prompting Apple to add Alibaba.
