Apple Intelligence Approved for China, Powered by Two Local AI Companies

Chinese regulators have approved Apple Intelligence, about two years after it launched in other countries. Apple will use AI software from both Alibaba and Baidu across iPhones, iPads, Macs, and its Vision headset. Baidu was Apple's first pick in 2024 but its work fell short, so Apple added Alibaba.
