Kigali Emerges as Site for Europe's First Migrant 'Return Hub'
Kigali, Rwanda's capital, has emerged as the site for Europe's first "return hub" for rejected migrants, a facility five European governments are pursuing, according to InfoMigrants. A return hub is a facility for sending back people whose asylum claims were refused. Rwanda is open to hosting migrants transferred from Europe, Reuters reported. The plan follows a failed British deal with Rwanda.
