Activists break into Microsoft datacentre site in Amsterdam during European protests

Dutch activist group Geef Tegengas broke into a Microsoft datacentre (computer facility) construction site in Amsterdam on Friday, 6 November 2026, during two days of European protests against datacentres. Some climbed a crane and lit flares. Banners objected to Microsoft's services for the Israeli military and US immigration agency ICE. Police said one officer was slightly injured.
