Applied Computing's Orbital Unifies Physics, Time Series, and Language Models for Plant Simulation

London-based Applied Computing has launched Orbital, a system that fuses a time series model, a physics-based model, and a language model to simulate oil, gas, and petrochemical plant operations. Operators can test changes, flag anomalies, investigate causes, and model knock-on effects in minutes rather than hours. KBR has integrated Orbital into its INSITE 3.0 platform.
