"Dune: Part Three" draws heavily on Frank Herbert's 1969 novel "Dune Messiah" but departs from it in places, Zendaya told Variety. She said the film has "a lot" that is "very true to the source material" and also "departures" from the book. The film opens in theatres on 18 December, from Warner Bros. and Legendary.
