SpaceX Alum's Startup Raises $65M to Automate Wire Harness Assembly
Senra, founded in 2023 by former SpaceX engineer Jordan Black, closed a $65 million Series B led by Lowercarbon and Interlagos, with backing from Sequoia, General Catalyst, a16z, and Founders Fund. The startup applies digital twins and software guidance to wire harness assembly—a manual-heavy process largely untouched since the mid-20th century. Senra currently produces 1,000 harnesses monthly, targeting 10,000 by 2027.
