Startup Backed by Major Tech Investors Aims to Modernize Aircraft Wiring

Senra, founded by a former SpaceX engineer in 2023, raised $65 million this month to automate wire harness assembly—the labor-intensive process of bundling and installing electrical cables in aircraft and vehicles. The company uses software and computer simulations to guide workers through assembly, a process that has barely changed in decades. Senra plans to increase production tenfold by next year.
