Norway's Appeals Court Keeps Crown Prince's Stepson Under House Arrest

A Norwegian appeals court ruled that Marius Borg Høiby, stepson of Crown Prince Haakon, must remain under house arrest at Skaugum, the royal residence outside Oslo. The November 4 ruling reverses a November 2 district court decision that would have released him pending appeal. His appeal trial on the June rape and assault convictions is set for February 9, 2027.
