BBC Rejects Independent Inquiry into Antisemitism, Despite Calls

BBC deputy director general Rhodri Talfan Davies has rejected calls for an independent inquiry into antisemitism, saying there is no evidence of a systemic issue. MPs, former BBC figures and Jewish leaders are demanding one. The calls follow claims by former documentary editor Lucie Kon, who says she faced antisemitism. The BBC says its processes did not uphold them.
