Tiptree sprinter Bronson Hearn-Smith won the 200 metres at the European Under-18 Championships in July, running 20.70 seconds. That is a championship record: no athlete has run faster at the event. The 16-year-old races for Colchester Harriers and is still a few weeks short of his 17th birthday.
