UK Culture Secretary issues intervention notice on Sky's proposed $2.1 billion ITV takeover

UK Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy has issued a Public Interest Intervention Notice on Comcast-owned Sky's proposed $2.1 billion takeover of ITV. Published 4 November, the notice pauses the deal for review: the CMA examines competition, Ofcom public interest. Both report by 27 January. She then decides whether to order a deeper CMA investigation. Nothing is decided yet.
