Nexus Mods Makes AI Disclosure Mandatory for New Uploads

Nexus Mods will require authors of new mod uploads to declare whether they used AI, according to a 3 November 2026 announcement. AI-assisted mods must carry a public explanation of how and where it was used. Outright bans are not planned. Existing mods have a 60-day grace period, ending 2 January 2027.
