Weta FX and Taiwan's TAICCA plan AI-driven screen production hub in Asia

Weta FX and Taiwan's Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) plan to make Taiwan a hub for AI-driven film and TV production in Asia, Variety reported on 4 November 2026. The plan has three strands: joint investment, AI tool research and development, and talent training. It will be formally launched on 6 November at the Taiwan Creative Content Fest in Taipei.
