The Justice Department sent letters to Democratic election lawyer Marc Elias and other Democrats, including lawmakers, saying they could be targets of a federal criminal investigation. The probe concerns an effort to put a man with the same name as Sen. Dan Sullivan on Alaska's ballot. Elias said the department has "zero evidence of wrongdoing."
