Trump-Backed Sister of Late Sen. Graham Takes Vacant South Carolina Seat

President Trump endorsed Darline Graham for South Carolina's Senate seat after her brother Lindsey Graham died July 11 from an aorta rupture. Governor McMaster appointed her July 13. Graham, a state commission official with no electoral experience, holds the seat through January 2027, when voters will elect a permanent successor.
