Australian police charge childcare worker with 329 offences against 136 children

Australian Federal Police have charged Hamish Tait, 35, with 329 offences involving 136 alleged victims over 16 years. Tait worked at 62 early childhood facilities in Sydney's north-west. Abuse material was found at five locations. Police contacted 121 families after identifying their children in the material; 22 victims remain unidentified. The investigation reviewed 2.4 million electronic files—among the largest volumes the AFP's child-exploitation taskforce has processed.
