Australian police charge childcare worker with abuse of 136 children

Federal police have charged Hamish Tait, 35, with 329 offences involving 136 children over 16 years at 62 Sydney childcare centres. Officers identified abuse material at five facilities and contacted 121 families whose children appeared in that material. Twenty-two victims remain unidentified. The investigation reviewed 2.4 million digital files—one of the largest cases in Australian police history.
