Former Sydney childcare worker charged with 329 offences against 136 children across 16 years

The Australian Federal Police have charged Hamish Tait, 35, with 329 offences spanning 16 years, involving 136 alleged victims. Tait worked at 62 early childhood education facilities in Sydney's north-west, with abuse material identified at five of them. Police contacted 121 families after confirming their children in abuse material; 22 victims remain unidentified. The investigation analysed 2.4 million electronic files, among the largest volumes in AFP child-exploitation taskforce history.
