Universal Music Group shares closed up 7.9% at €17.09 on Euronext Amsterdam on Friday, 30 October 2026. Third-quarter subscription revenue, paid by listeners on monthly streaming plans, rose 9.5% year-on-year at constant currency, excluding Downtown Music Holdings. An ING note cited by Reuters had forecast 8.2%. Shares had been down around 30% so far this year.
