North Wales Crusaders Secure 2027 Championship Place After Funding Row

North Wales Crusaders have secured a place in the RFL Championship for 2027, BBC Sport reports. The club had withdrawn its licence bid after the RFL sought £150,000 in escrow, a reserve account proving funding. Owner Jamie Elkaleh's revised business plan now satisfies the RFL's enquiries. Home games will be played at Colwyn Bay.
